Seriously... Thanks!

Honestly... I *know* that I have the best friends in the universe. I'm certain of it. So many of you made it out last night and made it an extraordinary time!

And to Dev E, Jose Padilla, Trev, Lil Chris, O'Henry, and Casey DC... Thanks all of you for bringing your A game.

I don't know what I did to deserve all of you but I am thanking my lucky stars every day for your presence.

I love all of you so much!

Thank you!

And also thanks to S, the owner of the space. You're bad azzzzzz.

Friday is walk to work day!

San Francisco is a walking city. If you're a San Franciscan reading this post and you don't know what I'm talking about... Shut down your computer immediately, go outside, and go for a walk immediately!

Anyway. Fridays are my walk to work day. One of my favourite parts of the walk is my trek through Buena Vista Park which provides beautiful views (surprise considering the name). See for yourself:

and here are the steps down to Haight Street from the park. Below the steps @ the corner you'll find this house which someone told me a very interesting story about @ lunch yesterday.

The story involves money, parties, remodelling, and a dot-com-rich guy who ended up dot-bombing. anyway, it's easy to see why i love my Friday morning walks to work!

Last Night

Last night I ended up @ Bollyhood Cafe with friends in North Beach. It's pretty amazing. The space is awesome and there were people dancing everywhere. The staff was really friendly and the crowd gave off a great vibe.

Here's some pics I shot from my camera phone... My standard low-light/camera phone therefore it's blurry excuse applies.

Here's the bar:

You can't see that this room is full of people dancing salsa but it is. The energy was electric and people were dressed to dance salsa!

Here's G striking a pose... I love her poses!

Fancy Bathrooms

Yes! You read right. Fancy bathrooms.

As I wander around and about San Francisco I've noticed there's some pretty rad bathrooms in sometimes the most obscure place. No, I'm not talking crystal fixtures... i'm talking bathrooms with that certain je ne sais quoi. is the word I'm looking for character?

My disclaimer for the photos I'm posting is that I'm shooting most of these pics from my camera phone with no flash which means a lot of these are blurry... sorry. It's a hazard of the trade.

The first two pics above are from a mural in the woman's bathroom @ Bollyhood Cafe in the Mission which is quite the rad establishment. These two pictures are from Kennedy's Irish Pub and curry House in North Beach. For those of you not in the know... Kennedy's ROCKS! It has really good Indian food. Yes, Indian Food @ an Irish pub.

Yet another thing made possible by the open minds in San Francisco. Who woulda thunk??? But it turned out well.
