This party was held @ an awesome venue in Miami, the Ice Palace with a killer line-up. In case you guys are wondering... YES... I'm wearing ear plugs (not even filters but PLUGS the WHOLE time I'm shooting this video and everything else). There was only 2 parties where the sound engineer seemed to understand about loud sound. When it's done right, you can stand up against the speakers and it doesn't hurt.

Here's a pic of Steve Bug of Poker Flat Recordings DJing during the wee hours of this AM for those of you who missed it.

Steve did a 3-hour set (yes... 3... i danced for three hours straight... don't believe me? ask him yo'self).

I tried to take mostly pictures sans flash as I didn't want to blind him... It's a courtesy thing. Enjoy!

Space Cadet Slightly Less Spaced... Only Slightly

So I'm going through my record collection trying to decide what to move where...

I live in an apt with what is actually a decently generously-sized kitchen.... Until my technics, studio computer, mixing board, etc, etc, etc moved in. Did I mention my record collection and camping supplies???

Anywho, I'm going through my collection and trying to figure out what goes where... What gets moved to the other room...

And that's when I noticed something. I have a sh*T load of schtuffs from: a) Poker Flat Recordings, b) Steve Bug, and c) Dan Berkson and James What. It's no wonder I had a fabulous time last weekend. And I bet I have a fabulous time tonight, too!

And right now I'm ordering a whole bunch more from all of those artists off of Juno.

to all you suckas who didn't reply to my invite to go the Sunset Party this past Sunday Afternoon... well all I have to say is you LOSE SUCKAS!

It was the best set I've seen all year... Just about. Maybe completely! Well, this year's not over yet so we'll see.... Up there in the top 2 at LEAST. YOWSA folks. I had no room left on my media card but here's some 33 seconds of Dan in an ethereal lovely key riff... Enjoy.
